We keep this simple, because our approach to your data is simple: we collect as little as possible, and we don't build profiles on you.
This site and the Jacobe apps are operated by Craig Rooney, trading as Jacobe ("Jacobe", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything about your privacy, email hello@jacobe.co.uk.
Speaker Cue Pro, Audio Sting Pro, Easy Test Card and our forthcoming apps are native Mac software. They run locally on your device and are built to work offline. They have no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and they do not transmit your scripts, timers, audio, settings or any other content back to us.
Our purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record and as a data processor for the transaction. When you check out, Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to complete the sale, which typically includes your name, email address, billing details, payment information and the country or region needed to calculate tax.
We receive only the limited order details we need to deliver your purchase and support you, such as your name, email address, the product you bought and your licence or order reference. We do not see or store your full card details.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which also manages our DNS, content delivery and our app downloads (Cloudflare R2). Cloudflare may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate, deliver and secure the service. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies.
To display our typefaces, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, Google may receive your IP address as part of serving those files. See Google's privacy policy.
If you contact us for support or any other reason, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and help you. We use this only to deal with your enquiry.
If you sign up to our mailing list, we collect your email address and a note of what you signed up for (for example, which app you're interested in), so we can send you relevant updates. We rely on your consent, confirmed by a double opt-in — you click a link in a confirmation email before we add you.
We use EmailOctopus to manage the list and send these emails, so your email address is stored with them on our behalf. See EmailOctopus's privacy policy. We only send genuine updates, such as launch news, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Order and tax records are retained for as long as the law requires (these are largely held by Lemon Squeezy as part of the transaction). Support emails are kept for as long as they're useful to help you, and then deleted. If you're on our email list, we keep your details until you unsubscribe, after which they're removed.
We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. We only share data with the service providers that make Jacobe work — namely Lemon Squeezy (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, DNS and downloads) and EmailOctopus (our email list). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Our apps and site are intended for professional and general adult use, and are not directed at children.
